COMMISSION WIP ~ A FAMILY PORTRAIT !! FUN !!!

YOU DIDN'T EVEN MISS ME !!!!

PINO THE DONKEY

Recently I watched a video by Jane DesRosier
as she was carving a stamp......hhhhhmmmmm
I thought to myself
I could do that

Enter, stage right,

PINO THE DONKEY

Have any of you ever wandered over
to Katherine Dunn's Blog?
She is a wonderful artist and I'm
particularly smitten with her donkey
PINO !!

So I went on over to her blog, brought
up a picture of PINO, and
WA LA !!!!

I CARVED THIS !

This was so much fun.

I didn't waste a single moment
I got out my pen and
sent Pino a little note,
I sure hope he likes
the card with his image
on it.
It will surely cause
a stir in the barnyard.

AND THEN....................

The other day you saw my list of angst....
there was "crackle chaos" and
"goo" and
"scraping"

It was all about this painting that eventually
turned out really great and
this photo does it absolutely no
justice at all, and
the good news is I think I may
already have it sold........
