These are the girls who hang out in my garden all summer long.
They bring me endless moments of joy.
I can't imagine what my life would be like without my garden. Many of my first memories in life are of flowers. The tulips and zinnias in my grandmother's yard brought me moments of total wonderment that have stayed with me throughout my entire life.
Never, never, ever, discount what your grandchild remembers at an early age.
And I tend to feel this applies to life in general, you never know what positive impression you are leaving on you spouse, your co-workers, your neighbors, the universe.
My slogan for 2008 -
Keep It Simple And Be Nice

Paula, thank you for your visit to my blog.
I love your three flower ladies.
I agree with you about how you can touch others...a good lesson for me as a new Grandmother :)
I love your flower ladies!! They are so adorable!!
I remember being in a vegetable garden with my grandmother and standing at her side as she made biscuits. You are right-it stays with you.
Oh my gosh those garden girls are so sweet! I'm glad you enjoyed my photos of the Cape! I plan on adding a few more this weekend. It's been rainy here and I've been taking hasty drive-by photos with my car window down so I don't get soaked! lol
Oh my...you've triggered a memory, story, of my own. I used to pick pansies from the flowerbeds of my grandmother's sister, my great aunt. They were velvety and colorful with a scent that wafts as I see them in my tight fist. She would let me pick as many as I wanted, then feed me cookies and Coke. Ah...
Thank you, Paula. I'll resist the temptation to go on and on...
Meilleurs voeux!!
P.S. And thanks for the link...I'll add "lessons, loves, regrets and do overs" to blueVicar.com unless you object?
Look at your sweet girls!! How wonderful!!
