This was the first recipe my son would make when he was around 5 years old.
I would measure it all and he would do the dumping and stirring......
his big delight was that salad spelled backwards is "dalas". His name is Dallas.
Make some salad and have a fun memory today.

This is my kind of recipe. (giggle)
This sounds like it is yummy! I love the way you have made art of your son's favorite childhood recipe! Now how dear is that? You are a special Mom and a special artist!
Paula, I love the human-ness of your work!
Thanks Dear Friend!
Sweet :-)
Sounds delish. A recipe to be handed down generation to generation. Yum. I'm wondering how old he is now and does he still cook? My son, now 39, turned out to be an excellent cook. I always encouraged him to cook, things like....tofu. Just in case he ever needed good protein and did have much money. :)
Yummy, love-infused, and with a sunny palette. That's what I call a winning recipe for art!
Did you make it to the Farmer's Market?
How sweet is that?
